We are a Japanese sushi restaurant located in North Vancouver, and specialist in Sushi, Teriyaki, and Tempura.

Job Duties:

1. Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
2. Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
3. Place dishes in storage area
4. Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
5. Scour pots and pans
6. Package take-out food
7. Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
8. Stock refrigerators and salad bars
9. Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
10. Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
11. Handle and store cleaning products
12. Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
13. Remove kitchen garbage and trash. Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors. Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.

Qualifications:

1. Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

2. Experience: Will train

3. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

4. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing the highest level of service
