Job Description

Our well-established Sri Dasmesh Logistics Inc. located at 153 Lily Pond Street, Kanata, ON K2M 0J5 is looking for two full-time (40-60 hours per week) Long Haul Truck Drivers to help us in hauling loads to various destinations.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Will train

Remuneration:

• $24.20 per hour for 40-60 hours per week
