Founded in 1999, Zaatar W Zeit is a Lebanese fast-casual restaurant chain that specializes in serving wholesome and freshly prepared authentic Lebanese street food with a twist. The chain is now expanding into the North American market with so far 2 locations in Vancouver, Canada. We are currently looking for a full-time Food Service Supervisor at our Park Royal location. The ideal candidate will excel as team player and will work well under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees the daily food service in all areas of kitchen and dining room
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Handle shift schedules for food services workers and assign them tasks on daily basis
• Coordinate frequent workplace inspections
• Plan menus and determine related food and labour costs
• Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of worker
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
• Ensure strict compliance with brand’s standards in all aspects of service
• Participates in menu preparation, ensuring menus are updated and recipes are revised
• Ensuring all equipment is clean and maintained
• Communicate positively and enthusiastically to the restaurant patrons and address their issues promptly

Employment Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school
• Flexible availability for weekends & holidays
• Food safe level 1
• 1-2 years of experience in restaurants
