Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Communications Coordinator to join our team at 200-805 Manning Road NE, Suite-3, Calgary, AB, T2E 7M8. This full-time position offers a salary of $35.00 hourly for 40 hours per week, with permanent employment status. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree accompanied by 1-2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience will be taken into consideration. Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with media people to get our stories in newspapers, websites, and social media.
- Develop and execute strategic public relations plans to promote the company's mission, vision, and values.
- Manage social media channels and engage with followers to enhance the company's online presence.
- Create engaging content including blog posts, newsletters, and social media posts to increase brand visibility.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Respond to inquiries and requests for information from the media and the public.
- Support the planning and execution of special events, including film premieres and industry conferences.
- Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support.
- Assess financial projections and budget requirements to support the execution of the business plan.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and promotional videos.
