Permanent Position: Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time (Weekend, Overtime as required)

Wage Rate:  $18.50 -$19.50 per hour, for 40 hours per week.

 Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

 Work Location : 3675 3rd Ave, Port Alberni, BC V9Y 4E7

 Work setting: Restaurant

 Supervision: 5-10 people

 Job Duties:·         

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food

• Establish methods to meet work schedules

• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures

• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies

• Ensure food service and quality control

• Address customers' complaints or concerns

• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

• Prepare and submit reports

• Establish work schedules

Requirements:

Education: High School is required, Higher education an asset

Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience required.

Benefits: Relocation expenses will be covered by the employer as well as the first three months of medical insurance, if required.
