Responsibilities
Tasks
- Assigning, coordinating, and reviewing the work of security guards and ensuring that they perform their duty to the appropriate standards on site.
- Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
- Train staff as per their job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist in recruiting and training new security staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Conducting regular internal and external patrols to monitor the safety of people, property, and assets.
- Communicate and enforce regulations of an establishment to maintain order and resolve conflicts.
- Requisitions of and adequately maintaining security equipment and supplies including safety vest, AEDs, communication radios, gloves, masks, and other workwear.
- Coordinating responses to identified security events and contacting the appropriate emergency services to respond to verified security breaches, as required.
- Supervise and provide leadership, guidance, and support to security staff.
- Resolve work-related problems thereafter prepare and submit progress, daily reports, logs, incident reports, and other reports.
- Executing procedures for emergency responses and being accountable for handling all sensitive and confidential information.
- Responding to incidents of fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, flooding, elevator emergencies, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
