Our farm is located in Milton, Ontario.
YourResponsibilities as an administrative assistant at our farm will be followings:
- File, key in, manage and maintain records related to crops, equipment maintenance, and other farm operations.
- Coordinate and schedule farm activities, such as planting, fertilization, harvest.
- Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings; record and prepare the minutes of meetings.
- Assist with managing farm expenses, oversee payroll, assist with budgeting, and keep financial records updated.
- Handle emails, phone calls, and letters related to farm operations.
- Keep track of inventory levels of crops, supplies, and ensure that necessary supplies are ordered and stocked as needed.
- Assist in preparing for and organizing farm-related meetings, whether internal team meetings or larger events with external partners or organizations.
- Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; establish and define office procedures.
Requirements:
Education
Ÿ Completion of one- or two-year college.
Work Experience
Ÿ Minimum of 1-year work experience as administrative assistants or secretaries or previous clerical experience
Language
Job Type: full-time (30 hours/week), permanent
Salary: $25 hourly
