2392951 ALBERTA INC O/A ASSETGURU SOLUTIONS require one Network Support Technician at Brooks AB to serve its  clients

Location - Office 105,350 Aquaduct Drive, Brooks, Alberta T1R1C8

One, Full time, Permanent position

Education- Completion of a college program in computer science, computer programming or network administration 

Work experience - 1-2 years of work experience in the relevant areas of IT support/ Network Administration

Wages- 22$ Hourly for 35-40 hrs a week

Duties - 

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, connections to the Internet and peripheral equipment
• Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, operating system software and software applications
• Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and to coordinate access and use of computer networks
• Provide problem-solving services to network users
• Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records for audit and troubleshooting
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations for buisness clients
• Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls of network devices
• Perform shell scripting or other basic scripting tasks for technical troubleshooting 
• Dashboard reports for management reporting
