Vacancy: FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Duties:

• Safely operate forklifts to move items throughout the warehouse.
• Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, ensuring that they are placed in the correct storage locations.
• Wrap goods, pack, and unpack goods, sort crate and stack goods.
• Inspect products for any damage during transportation and report any issues to supervisors or quality control personnel.
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment, conducting equipment inspections, and following safe forklift operating practices.
• Operate computerized inventory control systems.
• Maintain effective communication with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and drivers to coordinate movements and ensure smooth operations.
• Keep the warehouse area clean and organized, ensuring that there are no obstructions or hazards on the floor.
• Report any issues with forklifts to maintenance personnel.
• Handling heavy loads.

Requirements:

• Valid Forklift Operator Certification
