Job Description

Gill family is looking for a full time caregiver to look after their children at their residence located at VANCOUVER, BC, V5X 1S7.

Salary: $19 per hour

Minimum working hours: 40/week

Experience:  Not mandatory

Position: 1; Permanent, Full time
Start Date: As soon as possible.

Language: must have good English skills.

Education:  Applicant should have completed his/her Secondary School with course in Child care will be an asset. 

Duties to perform:

• Monitor and supervise child, keeping him safe and healthy.
• Prepare food and snacks for the child and organize meal time.
• Organize activities designed to helping him to learn about the world and develop his own interests.
• Create schedules to ensure that he have adequate physical activity, rest, food and intellectual stimulation.
• Watch for any signs of behavioral or emotional problems in child and alert parents to the problems.
• Keep records of child’s routines throughout the day.
• Take child to activities like swimming lessons, sports practices and school.
• Take full responsibility of the home in the absence of the parents.
• Bringing him from school and assisting him in studies. Dropping him for extra classes
• May need to perform light housekeeping duties

This is a full time position at the employer’s home and is open for all including Apprentices, Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada, Person with disabilities, seniors, Students, Veterans Youth, Visible minorities.
