Overview
RONA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to oversee operations at our Sechelt location in British Columbia. The ideal candidate will lead a team of associates, ensuring that customers receive outstanding service while driving sales and maintaining store standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
- Assist in planning and executing promotional events and sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Must have high school degree in business, retail, management, supply chain or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in retail management for 2 years, with at least one year in supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of building materials and lumber products.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite
