Overview

RONA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to oversee operations at our Sechelt location in British Columbia. The ideal candidate will lead a team of associates, ensuring that customers receive outstanding service while driving sales and maintaining store standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
• Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
• Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
• Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
• Assist in planning and executing promotional events and sales strategies.

Qualifications

• Must have high school degree in business, retail, management, supply chain or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in retail management for 2 years, with at least one year in supervisory role.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of building materials and lumber products.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite
