Location: North York, ON M2N 7E9
Salary: $65.50 hourly / 30 hours per Week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and enhance market position across key business sectors.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop construction-specific promotional materials, ensuring alignment with company values, project capabilities, and industry needs.
- Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve sales targets in landscape services.
- Applying statistical knowledge about the industry and developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth for the company. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying target customers, and setting sales objectives.
- Oversee sales budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation to support landscape design, installation, and maintenance projects.
- Create training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team, focusing on construction products, services, and client engagement.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, analyzing performance, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to optimize sales efforts.
- Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and deals, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the company and clients.
- Develop strategies for generating new leads and expanding the company’s client base, using networking, advertising, and referrals to drive sales.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnerships
Eligibility Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is typically required.
- Significant experience of 5 years or more in sales and sales management is often required. This may include a proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, for building and maintaining relationships with clients and colleagues, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence and persuade are also important.
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial management to ensure sales targets align with the company’s objectives.
- The ability to lead and motivate a sales team, set clear objectives, provide guidance and support, and foster a collaborative work environment are important qualities for this role.
