Job Description
Location: Hamilton, ON L8E 2X2
Salary: $48.25 per hour for 30 hours per week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and implement sales strategies to attract new customers, expand service offerings, and increase overall revenue in the truck repair industry.
- Oversees and compiles operational and marketing reports, including benchmark targets and fixed operations analysis, collaborating with senior management to continuously adjust marketing strategies for performance improvement.
- Hire and train new sales staff and other staff for the new locations and develop strategies for the development of the locations.
- Lead negotiations for service contracts with clients, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction in repair and maintenance agreements.
- Oversee the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve sales goals, and manage expenditures within set parameters.
- Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and financial budgets to the executive team.
- Leading the sales team by providing guidance, motivation, and support to achieve both individual and team performance objectives.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas of improvement in service delivery, ensuring that clients remain satisfied.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet owners, trucking companies, and individual customers to ensure repeat business and long-term loyalty.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Management, or another related field.
- Minimum 5 years of management and sales experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and other key performance indicators.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively interact with team members, clients, and senior management.
- Strong leadership abilities to inspire and manage sales teams, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
- A solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and managing sales-related financials to achieve profitability and growth is essential.
- Ability to adjust sales strategies based on market conditions and customer demands to stay competitive.
