• Position: BAKERY LABOURER
• 1 vacancy
• Location: Halifax, NS B3K 4C4
• Salary: $15.50 / hour
• Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 30 hours / week
• Start date: As soon as possible

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Food safety/handling skills, Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials, Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, Remove filled containers from conveyors, Feed and unload processing machines, Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, Clean machines and immediate work areas, Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Security and safety: Criminal record check
• Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Work under pressure
• Work site environment: Hot, Cold/refrigerated
• Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer, Bakery
• Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Reliability, Team player
