Currently we are looking for an experienced Event Planner who will perform the following duties:
You will meet with the clients to discuss their needs and requirements, manage all aspects of event planning, plan and facilitate logistics for all events, including contract negotiations, guest lists, venue preparation, presentation materials, security, catering, entertainment, transportation, equipment, decor, and marketing materials, develop and monitor emergency security plans, inspect and select sites, propose the budget, coordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities, coordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems and other details for special events, confirm and co-ordinate speakers, implement registration systems, Troubleshoot any issues that arise on event day.
Required skills and qualifications
Education: Education: College/CEGEP in event management or related discipline. Fluency in English.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Google Docs, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint MS Word, MS Windows
