CNC (computer numerical control) machinist

• Location: 5250 Satellite Drive, suite 38, Mississauga, ON L4W 5G5, Canada
• Workplace information: On site
• Salary: $29.00 to $31.00 per hour (To be negotiated)
• Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per Week
• Terms of employment: Permanent employment/ Full time
• Work Conditions: Day, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning, Overtime, Shift, To be determined, Weekend
• Start date: Starts as soon as possible

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
• On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
• Work setting: Jewellery store

• Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
  • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
  • Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools
