Construction Labourer and Helper

Job Details:

• Salary: $17.75 hourly, 35 to 40 hours per week
• Workplace: On-site
• Work Hours: Flexible – Day, Evening, Morning, On Call, and Weekend shifts available
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Benefits: Free parking
• Vacancy: 1 position

Qualifications:

• Language: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role

Work Environment:

• Outdoors, at heights, noisy
• Physically demanding tasks

Work Setting: Construction site (relocation costs covered by employer)

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials
• Perform pre-operational inspections
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
• Perform light cleaning duties
• Support skilled tradespersons
• Help trucks and delivery drivers with loading and unloading

Experience and Specialization:

• Equipment and Machinery Experience: Proficiency with hand tools

Additional Information:

• Physical Capabilities: Must be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and pay close attention to detail.
• Personal Suitability: Dependable, flexible, and hardworking.
