Education : A Bachelor’s degree or Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is usually required.
Licenses: Necessary licensing is advisable.
Experience: Minimum One Year Supervisory experience in a similar environment
Languages: English
Physical Demands: Standing, Walking and running, Handling material manually
Duties and Responsibilities: Food service supervisors supervise, direct and coordinate the activities of the Restaurant. Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff .Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation. Establish work schedules and procedures. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures, and budgets. May plan cafeteria menus and determine related food and labour costs.
